Foreign interest in producing films at Hungarian film studios may return
Budapest - Confidence towards Hungary is starting to return, as more and more foreign filmmakers show interest in producing films in Hungarian studios, Peter Hidvegi, head of the Stern Film Studio and Media Center told the business daily Napi Gazdasag on Wednesday.
After last year's big shortfall, 2009 augurs good, he said.
A six-part Canadian-British coproduction series and, in October the shooting of a British feature film are expected in the studio, and Stern expects some 65 percent utilisation of their capacities, Hidvegi was quoted by the paper as saying.
